There is a permanent installation by Turrell called 'Light Reign' which is worth the trip alone.

Great place to see Native American art. Or a walrus penis bone (near the taxidermy squirrel).

Free for all students, all the time - anyone with a student ID, anytime they're open. (Um, also --admission is a suggested donated. You can suggest that you pay less if you need to.)

The new cafe downstairs @ the Henry serves Stumptown coffee, and they're open Tuesdays through Sunday. Just tell the museum admission desk you're headed to the cafe.
