This is such a little gem right on the territory of UCL and one of the non-mainstream museums of London. Not all exhibits might be interesting for everyone, but it's a must if you're into Egyptology.

It focuses on the smaller objects that many people might gloss over at the British Museum!

Though some of the exhibits are badly lit, i really liked this cosy museum. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, good to talk to.

Quite possibly one of the most hidden Egyptology gems out there, right in your backyard. Don't miss the emergency stairwell -- some of the best stuff is hidden there!

With its 80,000 exhibits, the Petrie (pronounced pee-tree) is bursting at its seams with items from the Nile valley dating back 5,000 years.

Some interesting 3D models of objects you can check out - they're digitally scanning a whole bunch right now
