Try the cafe in Darley park, it's lovely. I use to live in Darley Abbey, we were always walking through the park. Great concerts etc..............

There is a tea rooms near the Abbey Yard entrance that does excellent food at very reasonable prices

If you walk the length of the park, starting at the City Centre, your efforts are rewarded by The Abbey- a delightful old pub.

If you are in Derby. And the sun is shining. Head to Darley Park. It is Derby's most beautiful. And generally peaceful treat. The cafe is old school. In a very good way. Nice tea. Nice cake. Enjoy...
