I used speedtest.net and tested to servers in Walla Walla and Hermiston. I generally got about a 150 ping and between 1.25 Mbs to 1.5Mbps. It functions and is free, but not as fast as Hotel WiFi says.

Avoid the treadmills they slip and are dangerous.
