Some things that count were clean such as the bed, desktops, mirrors, other things were filthy like the air vents, tub, and generally a feel it needs a Huge renovation. You get what you pay for.

Great place to stay if you're on the road. Inexpensive, clean, near major highways, and best of all, pet friendly (no fee).
