There is a lovely stream to splash in, as well as a small pond.

This area was first logged in the late 1800's and continued up to the 1920's. The history after that is filled with conflict over the development of the area.

During the 1940's the "hard surface" paths we actually designed with an intent to build housing for military families surging into the area because of WWII.

Swan creek was named for early commencement bay fisherman John Swan.
